Who we are

This website is operated by Biddy Enterprises Ltd (“Biddy Enterprises”, “we”, “us”), 1505 Barrington St, Halifax, Nova Scotia B3J 3K5, Canada. It presents the V28 electric mobility scooter and lets you contact us about pricing and availability.

We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other privacy laws that apply to us. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, such as your name, phone number, location and questions about the V28. If you join our stock alert list, we collect your name, email address and colour choice, your phone number and address (both optional), and a record of your consent: which ways of contacting you (email, text message, phone call) you agreed to, the date and time, the wording you agreed to, the page you used and your IP address. The sign-up form saves your details in a database hosted by Cloudflare that only we can access; if the form cannot reach the server, it opens a pre-filled email to us instead. This website has no account sign-up or checkout.

Technical information. When you visit, our web host and network providers may automatically record standard technical data in server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages and files requested. We use it to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiries and provide quotes and availability information.
• To email you when new V28 stock is available, if you have joined the stock alert list. Every message identifies us and explains how to unsubscribe, in line with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
• To text or call you about new V28 stock and availability, only if you separately agreed to text messages or phone calls and gave us your phone number.
• To follow up about availability in your area, using the address you chose to give us.
• To arrange a purchase or follow-up if you ask us to.
• To keep the website secure, diagnose problems and prevent misuse.
• To keep business records and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We only send commercial emails if you have agreed to receive them (for example, by ticking the box on the stock alert form). Every message identifies us, gives our contact details and includes an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe on our unsubscribe page or by emailing us, and we act on every request within 10 business days. Our texts tell you how to stop them (by replying STOP), and you can ask us to stop calling you at any time. By emailing us, you agree that we may use your information to respond to you. You can withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits.

Third-party services

• Google Fonts. The site loads its typeface (Inter) from Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font files from Google, which may receive your IP address and browser details. See Google’s privacy policy.
• Cloudflare. Cloudflare hosts this website and stores sign-up details on our behalf, and may keep access logs as described above. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
• Email and list services. Messages you send us, and stock alert sign-ups, pass through our email provider and any email-list service we use to send notifications.

Sharing and transfers

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and the business (for example hosting, email, delivery or payment providers), when the law requires it, or with your consent. These providers may store or process information outside Canada, in which case it may be subject to the laws of those countries.

Retention and safeguards

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, and then delete it or make it anonymous. Stock alert sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe. After that we keep your email address and phone number on a do-not-contact list so we do not email you again, and we may keep your consent record for up to three years to show that we followed the law. We use reasonable physical, technical and organizational safeguards to protect it, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please avoid sending sensitive details, such as payment card numbers or government ID numbers, by email.

Your rights

You may ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you, to see it, to correct it, or to delete it, and you may withdraw your consent. Email us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children, links and changes

Children. This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Other websites. Links to other sites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Changes. We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version.
